Sexual Qi is basically a neutral force that can be used in many ways. Just like electricity. You can use it to light up your living room or use it to electrocute someone. It is all about using it wisely. However most people use sexual Chi to enhance their health, well being, and spiritual development.

The ArT of Chi Kung sex was developed by the Taoists and in modern day popularised by Mantak Chia. The Taoists  observed that men can lose energy through ejaculation and women through menstruation. The fact that so many men just turn over to fall straight to sleep is proof of that observation. And women suffering severe fatigue during their cycle shows how women are also depleting energy.  And there are Taoist manuals  giving exercises on how to decrease monthly flow.

The Taoist believed that excessive ejaculation in the Long term is bad for the health. So they have developed the art of having multiple orgasms without losing your mojo. Extensive literature and manuals can be found on this subject along with Tantra. Other literature that talk about sex enhancement would be the ancient Egyptians like “The art of Isis”. The Greeks got their Aphrodite and Venus. But the most prolific would be Tantric yoga and Taoist yoga.

Some Chi Kung manuals suggest reducing Ejaculation frequency during the winter and allowing it to increase during the summer when there is more energy available in our environment. There are also guidelines which state that the older a man gets the less he should ejaculate.

One way you can do this is to practise the micro cosmic circulation. This exercise is good for both males and females. Your life force or your Jing is in your genitals. So using mental Chi ( the Chinese call it “yi” ) or imagination you inhale your Jing up through your coccyx (tail bone) , up your spine, through your neck roll it over the top your head in one Long sweep and in one Long  breath. Then stop that jing in your brow area and hold your breath to a count of 9 then exhale.
If you do it correctly and you have minimal Jing you can see a small flash of white light in your brow.  The more Jing you have the huger and brighter the flash. For people who have a lot of Jing like if they are very young maybe 18 or 19 and very healthy and they do this exercise diligently they can actually feel their third eye throbbing or vibrating.  Some see rainbow Colours or prisms. This exercise also opens your third eye and enhance your clairvoyance. Good for those in the forecasting business like punters or stock Brokers. But we are now practising it to enhance our health and well being.

When exhaling the Chi flows downward from the brow (third eye chakra) in front of your body and down to your navel area and you store it in your dan Tien which is two inches below your navel. Then you rub your stomach clockwise 9 times.  Repeat this Big Draw and Loop 3 times.    One of my spiritual Teachers , an enlightened living Thai monk says to me We humans are mostly doing the anti clockwise movement every day. You observe when we eat, the food comes from planet earth the food we put in our mouth and comes out through out anus back into earth in an anti clockwise fashion.  The Taoist way reverses this and the microcosmic circulation is in a clockwise fashion. Up the spine and down the front Body.   Look at plants they circulate clockwise. They absorb water from their roots up their trunks and the water goes to the sky and comes down as rain all in a clock wise manner.  To circulate clockwise gives you a longer life span.

This particular exercise can also protect you from extraneous undesirable forces like zipping up your body so that no evil thoughts or energy can enter. If you for example are a hopeless spendthrift doing the micro cosmic breathing when you are out shopping will tremendously help you reduce your spending. Because by “zipping up” you will not be influenced by outside forces.  You are  thus protected.  You will notice you will be less influenced by the sales people or by the fancy products on display.
