A penile ring, commonly referred to as a ‘cock ring’, is a device worn around the base of the penis. It is designed to constrict blood flow, which can help maintain an erection longer by keeping the blood in the penis longer. While its main purpose is often to enhancing harder erection some people think  it can also help with premature ejaculation.

How to Use a Penile Ring

Choose a ring made from a safe and comfortable material, such as silicone, rubber, or metal. Ensure it is the right size to avoid discomfort or possible injury.  It is generally placed at the base of the erect penis. Some variants also loop around the testicles. It’s advisable to apply lubrication to make it easier to put on and more comfortable to wear.  Insert the ring when the penis is semi-erect or fully erect for optimal ease of placement. Make sure to  wear it for a limited time: usually not exceeding 20-30 minutes to prevent potential damage from restricted blood flow.  If you experience pain, numbness, or discomfort, remove the ring immediately.

Sensation Control. By maintaining a firmer erection, some men find they have a better capacity to last longer during intercourse, partly due to the enhanced confidence and focus this provides.

Increased Awareness. The pressure from the ring might provide feedback that helps some men regulate their excitement levels more efficiently.

Delayed orgasm. The ring’s constriction can help prevent the loss of erection, possibly allowing more time before ejaculation.

Premature ejaculation can have psychological or physiological causes, and using a ring may not address these underlying issues.

While a penile ring may offer some men help with premature ejaculation by enabling them to maintain an erection longer, it is not guaranteed. Combining its use with other techniques or therapies, as advised by a professional, may yield better results.  Some of the rings on the market are very interesting with feathers or are ribbed.
