We have two nostrils the right is the solar channel and the left is the lunar channel. Consequently the power of the male is at its highest in the solar channel and for a woman in the lunar channel. 

So the optimum time for this couple to conceive a baby boy is when the man has his dominant breath in the right nostril and the woman’s dominant breath in her left. 

This is the best time for both of them to unite in sexual intercourse and this will result in conception of a boy if done of the lunar dates of 8,11,13,14 or 15.  She will be blessed with a healthy and good looking male child.  The fertile period for a woman is from the 4th – 16th after menstruation. 

The rule for a woman if she desires a female child is to copulate during her fertile dates and she should have her dominant nostril in the right and her husband has his dominant nostril in his left. 

Some couples do this by inserting a wad of cotton in the nostril to enhance the nostril they wish to be more dominant.
